You are using ISE 3.2 and have created a repository for testing purposes and used a backup schedule.

I've confirmed that it's successful, and to restore it again
I tried to remove the hanging schedule and delete the repository

I can't confirm where it's possible.

Why do you want to disable backups? You can edit the backup schedule and change the repository.

You may Edit the schedule or Disable the schedule. There is no Delete.

Delete your repository(s) under Administration > Maintenance > Repository.

I know that it is possible to disable it.
I want to delete it,
Repository is not being deleted because it is now connected to the schedule.

Because the test is over, you need to delete the schedule and repository to restore.

As @thomas stated, it is not possible to delete the scheduled backup in any current version of ISE.

Some options for workarounds:

1. Reconfigure the repository to use something invalid like the IP 1.1.1.1

2. Create a repository using the disk option, edit the scheduled backup to use that repository, then delete the old repository.

Example:

If you would like to submit a suggested enhancement for deleting an existing Backup Schedule, you can do so via the Make a Wish feedback link.

Seems to be that the scheduled backups don't hold the changes saved when trying the new repository using the Disk protocol.
