Just out of curisoity, why are you using ldap auth type instead of WindowsNT? Never the less, for your LDAP setting you don't need to specify the port#. For our enviormnet, we use the LDAP auth for edirectory, but use windowsnt for our ad server.

Simon

We are trying to set-up a new CCA system to use our NT directory services as an LDAP authenticator.

We are trying to duplicate the working set-up from a test system that we had in-house, but it is incomplete. Unfortunately the test box is now gone.

This is what we have coded and are unsure of the "sAMAccountName" variable as well as others.

Authentication Type: LDAP

ServerURL: ldap://xxx.xxx.xxx.xx:389

Search DN: CN=stutest,OU=Students

Search Base Context: DC=lhup,DC=edu

Referral: Manage (Ignore)

DerefAlias: Always

Default Role: Unauthenticated Role

Description: LDAP Authentication

Provider Name: LDAP

Server version: Version 3

Search Password: (blank)

Search Filter: sAMAccountName=$user$

DerefLink: OFF

Security Type: None

We are failing to authenticate with set-up.

Can anyone help us with this?

Thanks in advance.
