CISCO ISE Appliance Password Reset

We are running in a particular issue when attempting to log into to the ISE appliance through the CLI on the KVM. When prompted to input the password we are asked to reset the password. After inputting the old password followed by the new password, you are supposed to input the new password again so that it matches, however the cli resets again to the original state of asking login and old password credentials. How are we supposed to change the password ?

I know the password. The problem is that we need to reset the password when logging in.

Sounds like the password reset via the KVM is not working for you - therefore, what @balaji.bandi is suggesting is to boot the ISE node with the installation .iso and then selecting the Utilities menu option to reset the password. That always works. When you boot from the .iso, just make sure you select the right option though - you can accidentally re-install the node if you press the wrong menu item !
