Cisco IOS cna only authenticate natively off to a Radius or TACACS server, or to the local user database. If your OID server (?) has a Radius interface then that will be fine, but other than that you need a Radius/TACACS server (like ACS) to interface between the two. To be honest I don't really know what OID is, but I'm pretty sure ACS doesn't interface to it anyway.

I'm not sure if I'm in the right form but here it goes.

I have (4) AS5300's access servers and want to do Authentication directly to my OID server instead of to an ACS.

Can this be done? How and where can I find information on doing this?

Is there any pro or cons about doing this?

TIA
