Unable to modify wifi guest validity period

Hello,

when creating a guest account i'm unable to modify it's validity duration from the date menu, for example, it is not possible to shorten the validity period from the default days related to the group.

I'm always promped "mobile number not present or mobile number not valid" although mobile number is not mandatory during account creation.

What am i missing? Is it a bug? The configuration seems to be correct.

Any ideas?

What version of ISE is this? I don't see this in 3.2p5 or 3.3p3

In your example, is the default for that Guest Type set to 3 days?

I don't get the mobile number mandatory issue either.

Can you post a screenshot?

Ise version is 3.1 p8, and i have 3 different groups, a sponsor user can create only the guest type he's assigned, in the example the default is set for 7 days.

Following the error, but as you can see the mobile number is not mandatory (no *)

Doesn't look healthy at all. May I recommend that you create a new Guest Type and Guest Portal(keep the current stuff in place). I wonder if by creating new/fresh Guest Type, that these issues disappear. I doesn't appear as if you have misconfigured it. Having said that, maybe you can share your config for your current Guest Portal (Registration Form "Settings" tab) and Guest Type for which you are having these weird issues.

we don't use guest self registration, we are using sponsor portal for the creation.

following the screenshot of the configuration:

as far as i now i don't see any error, and the issue is appearing for every guest type in the deploy.

At the moment i can create a new guest type just for test...

Did you access the Sponsor Portal via its URL, or did you access it via the ISE Admin GUI 'Manage Accounts' menu option?

Hi @Arne Bier ,

both ways, personally i use the "test url" button from the ise admin gui, while the other sponsor users use to access it directly via URL.
