trying to upgrade ISE from 2.6 to 3.1 backup restore method

hello trying to upgrade on a lab before the backup and restor procedure and im getting the following error trouble:

why from 2.6 to 3.1

following the documentation in this post it should be capable to upgrade from 2.6 to 3.1

That upgrade would be posible.

any recomendation on this problem?

Seems that the upgrade from 2.6 to 2.7 had some issues too - read this user's post - you cna fix the index error with

application configure ise

options 9 and 10

and then run the restore/upgrade again.

By the way, you can also run the URT on the Secondary PAN prior to an upgrade - it's non disruptive and it will find issues that you might encounter during a the actual upgrade. It would probably have found the same issue.

where should i run the

application configure ise

on the new device or the old?

the thing is im doing a backup restore upgrade im trying to do upgrade a lab node that i have first but im not able to etheir.

i tried with a 3.1, 2.7 and a 2.6 and get the error on al versions.

On the 2.6 version, prior to running the URT. If the URT runs clean, then the upgrade should run clean too.
