ISE SLR Confirmation Code

Hi,

We are using the SLR license option on our ISE's. When we apply the license file it always generates a Confirmation Code which you then input onto the Cisco.com License portal against that license.

My issue is that the Operations team that apply the licenses sometimes forget to write down the code and so far we have found no way to get the confirmation code back up once we have navigated away from the licensing page. Is there some way of finding out the confirmation code for the licenses via the cmd line in a particular log where it may have been recorded?

It seems daft that it just disappears for good and that the only way we found so far to correct the issue is by cancelling the reservation and re-doing it all over again!

Hi @neil.j.bishop ,

1- The update code remains in ISE Licensing page as "License Notifications", you can expand to see SLR confirmation code. It remains in the page until unless you clear it by clicking - "Clear Notifications".

2- If someone has cleared it from Licensing page as well, then you can download ise-psc.log and look for - "the SLR confirmation code is"

However submitting the confirmation code during the process of SLR update remains the right way to complete the process to avoid any missing code issue.
