I logged a TAC request. It was resolved and they said that the dp.properties file got corrupted after applying the licence. We reseted the appliance and then applied the license, it worked.

I restarted the ISE server but it got stuck in initializing. After two hours above, i disconnected power and reconnected it then tried to start the server again but i still got the same error. Bellow is the error:

And below is how the services are looking on the ISE server. Kindly help

Assuming that this is a production system I would recommend raising a TAC case for this. Please do report back if there is a simple fix or a bug-id that can be useful for the next person googling this issue.

Please check the ADE logs and see if you can find anything reported issue. You can check those logs with the command "show logging system ade/ADE.log". If nothing obvious showing on the logs, then until you talk to TAC I think you can try to shutdown ISE application services and restart them using the "safe" keyword.

application stop ise
application start ise safe

Since you said you pulled power I'll assume this is an appliance and would suggest logging into the CIMC to see if there is any hardware faults or drive failures.

Since you restarted the server, was there a reason to reboot it? Errors or locked up? It's also possible it's trying to scan/rebuild the DB due to an error or corruption.
