To perform a health check on all nodes in a Cisco ISE distributed deployment, follow these steps:

1.In the Cisco ISE GUI, click the Menu icon and choose Administration > System > Health Checks.

2.Click "Start health checks." An information pop-up window will display the message: "Health Checks triggered."

3.Click "Ok" to view the status.

4.In the Health Checks window, you will be able to view the health status of each component. The health status is indicated by colors:

• Red: Not Good. Click the drop-down option to view troubleshooting recommendations.

• Orange: Good. Click the drop-down option to view available troubleshooting recommendations.

• Green: Good. No action is required.

• Blue: Good. Click the information icon to view critical information about the functionality.

5.Click "Download report" to save a HealthChecksReport.json file on your local system with detailed health status information of your Cisco ISE deployment.

The health check provides the working status of components and displays troubleshooting recommendations regarding any issues. It includes checks for CPU, memory resources, and other system components. The status is retained in the Health Check window for the next three hours, and you will not be able to run another health check until the window is refreshed or has expired.

The other place you can check the CPU, Memory and Authentication latency trends for the last 24 hours is by navigating to Dashboard> System Summary.

Attaching output of health check from a lab node.
