Most ISE deployments are based on endpoints and active/concurrent sessions.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/ise/performance_and_scalability/b_ise_perf_and_scale.html

If we do not know the numbers, we need to ask for data, like how many wireless clients are active during peak hours and how many physical ports are connected across all the switches in the organisation, to determine what kind of ISE node deployment is needed.

But that is not an accurate figure; sometime after deployment, we may need to add more personas based on lessons learned from network activity and performance.

hello @Hamada Ahmed . My G, when sending an Ise sizing sheet to the customer, u'll want to collect more than just the nr of endpoints. What I always send or add are: 1. Use cases. 2. Peak concurrent sessions. 3. Authentication types. 4. Number of NADs. 5. Expected growth, and some more, so the more info the better.....

hope it helps!

-Enes
