Cisco ACS 5.6 generate the CSR file , Private key and PK file

Dears,

I am going to install trusted certificate from 3rd party , they ask for the CSR file , as i know the i need private key to generate the CSR , actully i dont know where i can find the private key or the private key file .

Hello Rjo-

You don't need a private key to generate a CSR. The private key is actually create during the CSR generation process. The CA provider only needs the CSR to provide you with a signed certificate. Once you obtain the signed certificate you will "bind" it with your CSR in ACS.
