topic wrong error msg when leave in Network Access Control

Error while installing private key (.pvk format)on Cisco ACS.

Hi Team,

i have created the Root certificate and Server certificate in .cer and .pvk format with Makecert tool. When i tried to install private certificate on Cisco ACS then it is showing as following error .

" Unsupported file key format".

Please find the attachment for certificate creation (which i followed ).

Please help me .

Do you have a screenshot of the certificate error?

What was the key algorithm used?

Use RSA.

wrong error msg when leave the Private key password field empty

Description

Symptoms: When importing a certificate into Cisco Secure ACS, multiple attempts
with the wrong password for the private key will result in a misleading error
message.

The first error message will correctly display
"Private key file password is incorrect"

Subsequent attempts will display
"Unsupported private key file format."

Workarounds: Insure you are using the correct password when importing the private
key.
