AAA via ACS with Aruba AirWave

Fighting an odd issue...and ACS 5.3 doesn't help at all either. Trying to get my AirWave server to do AAA via my ACS 5.3 server. I see it authenticate, but it's not hitting the right rule, so the proper group doesn't get passed to the AirWave server, and while it's successful in ACS, it fails at the AirWave server. The AirWave rule is at the top of the list, and I've tried matching on device group, location, IP address, and combinations of all 3 with no success. Has anyone here seen this before and have any ideas on getting it to work?

Scott,Why don't you try using

Scott,

Why don't you try using the condition: NDG:Device Type:All Device Types:AirWave?

That would be more feasible in a long term basis.

Try it and let me know.

Also, you are running 5.1, might not be as smooth as expected, see if you can go to 5.2 to 5.3 as well.

Rate if Useful 🙂

Sharing knowledge makes you Immortal.

Regards,

Ed
