There was a Cisco bug with using the RADIUS attribute 19 for call-back. It has been resolved but I can not find it. Have you tried to use the Cisco VSA for the call-back av pair to see if that works. My guess is it will...

Otherwise, you will need to find the bug and change your image on the router.

hello,

I've a NAS configured with an IAS Radius server(W2K) installed. Everything is working fine except for callback. I'm using MS-chapv1 for authentication. When I specify a callback number in the user settings in the Active Directory, I receive a "Deny Access" message. when I look further in the router debug, I see this message:

RADIUS: Bad attribute (Inapplicable attribute): type 19 len 11 data 0x30323635

RADIUS: unrecognized Microsoft VSA type 10

RADIUS: no appropriate authorization type for user.

Thank you already for any help...

Eric Gillis
