      <title>Smart Licensing problem</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi friends.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;We want to register a FTD firewall in FMC 2500 using smart license. when I tried to use the token to register the FTD, I receive this error message.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;the FMC has the connectivity to the internet and receive the updates without any problems.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;what is the problem?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Smart licensing was running really slow for me this weekend. Perhaps just give it another try today.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Is there a proxy server in your environment? Those can cause issues with Smart Licensing.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, you can use a proxy server. Check that your FMC is configured for it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You do that under System &amp;gt; Configuration &amp;gt; Management interfaces. Select the checkbox to enable use of a proxy server (and optionally to authenticate it that's required in your environment).&lt;/P&gt;
