    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I just changed the hostname of my PIX 501 and here's the outcome:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;oldname# config t&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;oldname(config)# hostname newname&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;%Key pair with hostname oldname.some.here.dom will be invalid&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;newname(config)#&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;what does the key pair message mean, and what troubles should i be expecting later?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Totin&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Totin &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's to do with any rsa keys you have generated on the Pix. The primary use for these keys would be for ssh access. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When you setup ssh you need to generate keys. If you change the hostname you will need to regenerate the keys. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;HTH &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jon&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
