FWSM transparent, multiple context mode

Hi everyone,

I am trying to implement a design with FWSM routing between VRFs, each MPLS VRF has multiple VLANs assigned to it. So, I am trying to put multiple VLANs on inside and multiple on outiside interface of each context without bridge-groups.Is it possible?

Is there a reason for transparent mode?

Yes it is possible with 3.1 code. You can have upto 8 pairs of interfaces (i.e 8 bridge groups)

If you don't want to use bridge-groups then no i don't think this is possible. You could only do it with each context in routed mode but it doesn't sound like this is what you want.

Hi,

Just one more question then. If i use a point-to-point link with SVI on the MSFC is it possible to pass this traffic through the firewall?
