FMC and sensor upgrade space requirement

Hi,

we want to upgrade to v6.3 that is almost 2GB large so I just want to be sure that we have enough space for installation.

Can you please tell me to which folder-mounted partition installation files are going?

We have Cisco Fire Linux OS v6.2.3 (build 13).

FMC will have enough space. I have an FMCv that I have upgraded all along the way since version 5.2 when it was still a Sourcefire Defense Center product and it's never given me a problem.

As a good practice you can remove the old update files listed under System > Product Updates.

The files are stored on disk at /var/sf/updates. You can see here the files matching what's shown in the GUI:
