The user has still privilege level 15, but it is not visible with the described commands. Except when I login with this user, then I can se that it has privilege level 15. All the commands can be started, that is not the issue. Has anyone idees?

Hi all,

We have configured a user on 1 of the PIX firewall's witch privilege level 15.

When we do a "sh run" or "sh user *****" the it shows us that the configured user has a privilege level 2 instead of 15.

When I logon with the specific user and then start the command sh curpriv I get the output below:

Username : enable_15

Current privilege level : 15

Current Mode/s : P_PRIV

Can someone explain to me what is going on and if this is normal behaviour of the PIX?

Thanx in advance.
