topic Google Chat Blocking in Network Security

Hi,

i wanted to block the web based google chat, is that possible by blocking some ports on the routers? i know it works through proxy server, which i have already implemented on my network,by specifying the google web chat location. since in Cisco IOS URLFILTERING, it blocks the domains name but not the file or path name, i can't do that, but i am looking for a solution which should block the web based google chat by blocking port on the router.

K fine, i myself found it, it is chatenabled.mail.google.com, if you block this in urlfiltering in Cisco IOS router or proxy server, web based google chat will not work.
