      <title>Standby Sourcefire on ASA</title>
      <link>https://community.cisco.com/t5/network-security/standby-sourcefire-on-asa/m-p/2665255#M1027769</link>
<description>&lt;P&gt;I have two ASA's running in active standby mode, each with an ASA SF module. I am getting errors on the SF module in the Standby because it is not receiving any traffic. I believe it is by design that the standby ASA SF module is not receiving any traffic, but it I don't want my device to be in alarm in firesight. It looks like I can go into the Policy on the device and tell it not to report on this value, but I do want to know if the prod unit that is using the same policy isn't receiving traffic. What is the recommended practice for handling this alarm?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
