To help with remote management of PIX 506E/515, I would like to understand if there is a mechanism of being able to:

1. Write a custom agent, and install on PIX 506E, OR

2. Call APIs published by the http webadmin interface, using some language

1. No custom agent can be installed

The AutoUpdate Server software might do the trick.

In which case, is it possible to call APIs (perhaps published by) of the http webadmin interface. Essentially to do what Ciscoworks-Auto Update server may be using? Will the Cisco Open-API help?
