trying to upgrade a firepower (formerly sourcefire) DC750 to 6.0.0.0..

upgraded ram

currently running 5.4.1.6

Get the following error shortly after starting the upgrade.

Update installation failed : [0%] Fatal Error running script 000_start 001_check_models.pl

This indicates that the software version that you are using might not be for this model.

If you are using any old series 2 sensor on this DC ,that would need to be removed.

Can you check software 6.0 again to make sure its for DC 750 and also go into /var/log/sf/ 6.0 directory. check the contents of /000_start and then tail 001_check_models.pl.log

It will more clear log details.

Perfect answer, checked the file and yes we had one old device, took them all out since I am also building replacements for all the sensors and worked first time.
