&lt;P&gt;Whats the version that you see on the device ? You can verify that under Device Management on the Defense Center&amp;nbsp; , also check the VDB version ?&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>FireSIGHT Patch fail from 5.3.1 to 5.3.1.x</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, My name is JUNYOUP KIM.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I Upgraded FireSIGHT (5.3.0.2 &amp;gt; 5.3.1), and Installed Patch(5.3.1 &amp;gt; 5.3.1.6)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;OS Upgrade was completed(5.3.1), but Patch not Installed. &amp;gt; Fail&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Fail Log --&amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;Appliance Sourcefire3D is already being upgraded to 264, started at 'Unknown';&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;What is this Log?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please help me.... very critical issue&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;The log seems that it is more likely to be the VDB version . You can check in : /var/log/sf/&amp;lt;Cisco_Network_Sensor_Patch_5.3.1.6/status.log&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;In status.log you can check where exactly its failing.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;But 5.3.1.6/status.log file not exist in /var/log/sf.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Patch not started, Because Installed fail.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
