FireSIGHT Patch fail from 5.3.1 to 5.3.1.x

Hello, My name is JUNYOUP KIM.

I Upgraded FireSIGHT (5.3.0.2 > 5.3.1), and Installed Patch(5.3.1 > 5.3.1.6)

OS Upgrade was completed(5.3.1), but Patch not Installed. > Fail

Fail Log --> Appliance Sourcefire3D is already being upgraded to 264, started at 'Unknown';

What is this Log?

Please help me.... very critical issue

Hi,

The log seems that it is more likely to be the VDB version . You can check in : /var/log/sf/<Cisco_Network_Sensor_Patch_5.3.1.6/status.log

In status.log you can check where exactly its failing.

Thanks for your reply.

But 5.3.1.6/status.log file not exist in /var/log/sf.

Patch not started, Because Installed fail.

Hi,

Whats the version that you see on the device ? You can verify that under Device Management on the Defense Center , also check the VDB version ?

Now, the FireSIGHT running version is 5.3.1 / FirePOWER running version is 5.3.0.2

And VDB version is 264.
