recommended version of sourcefire

We would like to know what is the recommended version and stable version for sourcefire? and also what is the upgrade path from 5.3.x?

Hi,

We always recommend the latest versions but I guess 5.4 should be stable to upgrade to.

From 5.3.0 >5.3.1 >5.4.0 >5.4.x

Now depending on what sourcefire you have ,you can proceed with the upgrade.

Hi Aastha,

You missed a step.

The upgrade path would be 5.3.0 -> 5.3.0.1 -> 5.3.1 -> 5.4.0 -> 5.4.x.
