    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a PIX 501 6.3(3) I want to upload the 6.3(5) ver of the OS via tftp server. When I issue the command&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"copy t&lt;A class="jive-link-custom" href="ftp://192.168.2.2/e:tftp-root" target="_blank"&gt;ftp://192.168.2.2/e:tftp-root&lt;/A&gt; flash:image"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I get the folowing:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Result of firewall command: "copy t&lt;A class="jive-link-custom" href="ftp://192.168.2.2/e:tftp-root" target="_blank"&gt;ftp://192.168.2.2/e:tftp-root&lt;/A&gt; flash:image"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;copying t&lt;A class="jive-link-custom" href="ftp://192.168.2.2/e:tftp-root" target="_blank"&gt;ftp://192.168.2.2/e:tftp-root&lt;/A&gt; to flash:image&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;tftp: TFTP Server Error: Invalid access to e:tftp-root&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Image not installed&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The ftp server log states &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"Invalid access to e:tftp-root from 192.168.2.1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tried using 2 different tftp server apps, and I get the same results, Anyone have any ideas why this is happeninig?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The e:tftp-root dir has "everyone" full control for test purposes to see if this was the problem, but still no luck.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for any aasistance.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello, &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You need to specify the filename: pix635.bin (or whatever you have named it)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;copy t&lt;A class="jive-link-custom" href="ftp://192.168.2.2/e:tftp-root/pix635.bin" target="_blank"&gt;ftp://192.168.2.2/e:tftp-root/pix635.bin&lt;/A&gt; flash:image&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also - make sure that directory name is right - most tftp servers don't require you to specify a drive letter.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;--Jason&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please rate this message if it helped solve some or all of your issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;try doing this&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;copy t&lt;A class="jive-link-custom" href="ftp://192.168.2.2/pix635.bin" target="_blank"&gt;ftp://192.168.2.2/pix635.bin&lt;/A&gt; flash&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i don't know which tftp server you are using but i would recommend solarwind&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if still having problems try this for step by step &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;copy tftp flash&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Address or name of remote host [127.0.0.1]? 192.168.2.2&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Source file name [cdisk]? pix635.bin&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;copying t&lt;A class="jive-link-custom" href="ftp://192.168.2.2/pix635.bin" target="_blank"&gt;ftp://192.168.2.2/pix635.bin&lt;/A&gt; to flash[yes|no|again]? yes&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if helpful , please rate it&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;also make sure your tftp is set to both transmit and recevie mode &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for the idea, I was using SW, and it turned out to be that in windows explorer the file pix635.bin displayed porperly, but looking in the SW dir it was listed as pix635.bin.bin, once fixed all was well.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Again many thanks for your time &amp;amp; knowledge to all that helped!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;P.S if possilbe plese look at my new post concerninig &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"portmap translation creation failed"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
