We have the problem yesterday in our sourcefire regarding in slow performance. The resolution that we made is we reboot the sourcefire. We need to know what is the cause why when we accessing the Sourcefire by GUI it took so long and sometimes request time out?

Hi,

Hi,

There might be some Databse corruptions . You might need to run : DBCheck.pl on the DC Gui.

>Escalate the privilge to root

>sudo su

>Enter password

root>DBcCheck.pl

Share the o/p.

If there are a lot of warnings and corruptions , you might need to repair the tables or run a slow repair.

Regards,

Aastha Bhardwaj

Rate if that helps!!!
