VLANs in the inline set?

Hello,

I have a question regarding FPR inline set configuration.
We use FPR2130 with FTD as an IDS sensor (passive + SPAN) at this moment.

We want to configure in-line set for another type of traffic. So, in my opinion, we have to connect another physical interface.
And this is the question - can we use VLANs in the inline set? I mean 1 physical interface and 2 VLANs (in/out).

Thank you in advance.
SP.

Hi,

Inline set is a pair of interfaces, it should be two interfaces. One will be for IN traffic and other will be for OUT traffic.

You cannot create vlan for IN/OUT traffic for the inline set.

Thanks,
Abheesh
PS: Please don't forget to rate and select as validated answer if this answered your question
