topic VPN users in Network Security

We have a VPN 3000 concentrator and our vpn clients are version 4.0.4 (B). On the concentrator we have the ability to set up users and groups, but on the client we only have the option to sign in using group authentication. How do we go about enabling our clients to use user authentication?

Hi,

Are you using ipsec?

You configure the group credentials on the vpn client. When the user connects to the vpn concentrator they are prompted for user credentials.Make sure you have "remote access" selected under tunnel type on the vpn concentrator ipsec properties for the group.

Thanks

John
