Hi all,

I'm trying an old VMS 2.3 with IDSMC 2.0.1 to IPSMC 2.1 through VMS2.3 CD1, but during the installation process it appears an error telling me that ASANYs_SqlCoreDB cannot be stopped and asking to do it manually.

This process doesn't appear among current active windows processes and also any temptative to stop it from inside VMS fails.

CiscoWorks Sybase remains as 'Stopping' in Windows services.

Could you please help me?

What can I do??

Thanks

In the Process Name column, look for ASANYs_SqlCoreDB, which is the name of the dbServer service.

c. In the State column, look for an indication that the dbServer service is running, such as Program started - No mgt msgs received.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6498/products_user_guide_chapter09186a00806167ed.html
