topic IKE Proposals not in LAN-to-LAN in Network Security

Hello-

I have a 3000 series Concentrator. I am trying to set up a new Lan-to-Lan. The IKE Proposal I need to use will not show up in the drop down box in Configuration\Tunneling and Security\IPSec\LAN-to-LAN, all the rest of them do. If I go into Configuration\Policy Management\Traffic Management\SAs, it shows up there. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Under :

Configuration\Policy Management\Traffic Management\SAs

You will find the IPSec Proposals, not IKE. For IKE proposals, you need to go to :

Configuration | Tunneling and Security | IPSec | IKE Proposals

There you need to check if your proposal is in active proposals list or not. If not, you have to add it to Active Proposals.

Hope this helps.

-Kanishka

Hello-

Thank you for your reply. In the path you give I have activated an IKE Proposal that I wish to use. The weird thing is, it does not show up on the drop down list in the LAN-to-LAN settings.

Thanks,
