Hi,

I've started using Solarwinds Enginners Edition Package since last year and I'm very satisfied with it. It has a set of tool that monitor real-time or at specified instarvals. And besides there are tools more oriented to Cisco devices such as "Config Downloader", "Config Uploader", "Compare running vs startuo configs". Summarizing, it is a complete group of tools. Don't worry, I'm not a reseller, just user!!!

Ho this help you!!

Alex

I'd stick with the free (as in speech) stuff myself. MRTG is great and will do exactly what you need it to do.

If you need slick tools, there are plenty out there (that are free) that can do just about everything in SolarWinds. Here's a free Cisco uploader/downloader tool that does diff's as well as letting you reset passwords, remote reboot, etc.

This type of software is a must in your toolbox when the budget isn't there.

http://www.geocities.com/billytk06
