      <title>RCP issue-LMS 2.5</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am installing and configuring LMS 2.5 on solaris 2.8 paltform. I am facing problem with RCP image transfer in all my Cisco devices. I configured the router with the following commands:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;username xxxx password xxxx &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ip rcmd rcp-enable &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ip rcmd remote-host cimadmin 192.168.253.15 cimadmin enable &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ip rcmd remote-username cimadmin&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ip rcmd source-interface VLAN1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;no ip rcmd domain-lookup&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and I enabled rcp in the OS and Ciscoworks as per the Cisco documentation.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am getting the following error while doing image transfer:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Error message in Job Result is as follows:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;SWIM1124: Failed to copy the image from Flash due to the reason - copyInvalidOperation : command invalid or command-protocol-device combination unsupported. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Retry the operation. If the problem persists, check the Bug Toolkit application for any known issues on the running image version.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Image Import Operation Failed&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; Following is the error message from dmgtd.log :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jan 11 15:02:50 cimxs001 dmgt[22831]: [ID 505812 local0.warning] #2053:TYPE=WARN&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ING:An application that is not registered sent a status message SWIM to the daemon manager.  The message was ignored.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jan 11 15:06:07 cimxs001 SQLAnywhere(rmengeng): [ID 702911 local0.notice] Connection terminated abnormally&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jan 11 15:06:07 cimxs001 last message repeated 1 time&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jan 11 15:06:07 cimxs001 SQLAnywhere(cmfeng): [ID 702911 local0.notice] Connection terminated abnormally&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jan 11 15:06:08 cimxs001 dmgt[22831]: [ID 922430 local0.info] #3011:TYPE=INFO:Application "1236" unregistered.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; Attaching the Complete JobResult,dmgtd.log and swim_debug.log&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Note: 1.Configuration Management using RCP is working fine 2.Image transfer using TFTP is working fine&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have to for for RCP as per the decision made by design team..Please help me out&lt;/P&gt;</description>
