topic LMS2.2 - device discovery in Network Security

Hi,

I have something strange going on, I have 3x 2950G-12 connected to a 3550, I've defined the 3550 as a seed device, but 2 of 2950 are not being discovered. I've checked Snmp, that's ok, I can see both switches in cdp table of the 3550, but they are not even coming up as unknown devices.

At the same time, in RME, the configuration archive pulls down running and startup config, but can't download the vlan configuration, it partially fails because the device do not support ssh, but in the configuration of the transport to be used for archive, tftp and telnet come before ssh.

Does any of this make sense?

Thanks,

Elena

There could be a version mismatch with CDP between the switches. Also, change the cdp interval to 5 secs and try...
