topic Problems with VPN client (4.0) for Linux over ppp0 in Network Security

Cisco VPN client v. 4.0 for Linux (Mandrake 9.1) works perfectly with Ethernet interface, but after I dial VPN concentrator 3005, routing installs correctly to ppp0 (VPN conc. is reachable), but IKE is not exchanging (VPN client debug shows that it is still using Ethernet encapsulation instead of Point-to-Point). Additionally after I run vpnclient executable, the connection to VPN concentrator is lost until vpnclient exits (with failure message).

Thanks for any suggestions or the solution in advance

Adam
