ASAv30 CLI prompt hangs up when using show run commands.

Hardware: ASAv30
Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software Version 9.9(2)1

Whenever I try to enter any show run command, for example "show run" or "show run access-list", the CLI terminal hangs up without generating any output and I have to close the session and restart it.

Even for "copy running-config startup-config", the same issue is observed.

Could this be related to high CPU usage? Kindly share your inputs and any suggestions to troubleshoot and narrow down this issue

I've never seen this issue. Which hypervisor are you using? Also, 9.9.2 is a pretty old. Any chance you could use the 9.13 release? It has much better performance.

Hi @jimholla ,

This ASAv30 is deployed on the AWS using a "c4.xlarge" instance. I'd love to upgrade but since the show run commands are not working, I'm unable to take a backup of the device configuration.

Does 'more system:running' do the same? How about 'copy running tftp' or 'copy runn ftp'? 'Show tech'?
