Hello

We want to purchase firepower P/N:FPR9K-FTD-BUN with P/N:FPR9K-SM-56= as security module. I could find information about one and three security module in the firepower9300 data sheet but there isn’t information about two security modules.

Do we have to select one or three security module for firepower9300? Can we purchase just two security module for firepower9300?

Thank you.

hey mate,

I'm building a firepower solution for my customer at this moment and we using two 9300 with one SM40 in each. This is because they will only push about 20 - 30 Gbps data through. The data sheet says its capable of more, but this is all dependent on what your running on it.

If your planning on using 2 x SM56, they must be need a lot of throughput. If your a service provider, then yes.

Thank you

H
