Hi, I had a similuar issue.
Do you use the cloud for licensing or a SSM on-Prem? If you are using a SSM on-Prem you have to change the default "license" string at the "call-home" settings.

call-home
profile License
destination address http https://***YOURFQDN***/Transportgateway/services/DeviceRequestHandler

In our case the management interface is used for the communication between licensing server and firewall.

Additional notes:
Set up NTP and Timezone on the FXOS.
I had to add the global command "crypto ca trustpool import default" to generate the default certificates again.

I hope this will help you.

Hello people

i am trying to license my new FPR-2130 (for SSHv2) with Smart Software Licensing. However, when I look at the license details this appears:

Smart Licensing Status
======================

Smart Licensing is ENABLED

Registration:
Status: REGISTERING - REGISTRATION IN PROGRESS
  Export-Controlled Functionality: Not Allowed
Initial Registration: FAILED on Aug 31 16:09:33 2018
Failure reason: Communication message send error
  Next Registration Attempt: Aug 31 16:26:56 2018

When I look at our ISP firewall then i see a connection to 10.22.183.117:8080. Of course this is not going to work and when I configure my proxy under CallHomeService he still uses 10.22.183.117:8080 and also fails. Is that normal or am I mssing something?

I configured the ASA in context mode. Is he trying to reach the web via MGMT from the "system" or from the "admin" ctx?

thanks for every replay!
