Can anyone help me how to take backup and restore of firepower device 2100 manage by fdm on box using cli.

You need to use the FDM GUI to perform backup, not the cli. Backup from the cli is not a feature.

Here is the procedure for GUI-based backups:

Both backup and restore must be from the GUI.

I have backup from FPR 1010 with FDM version 7.1.0.1-28 and restoring on same replacement appliance with same hardware and software but receiving error as backup is not compatible. Any help you can provide? I don't want to configure firewall manually that too on GUI.
