Unable to take gui access of fdm

I'm unable to take access of gui of ftd 2100 on box, while same I'm able to do ssh my device from same IP.

What software is it running - ASA or FTD?

Are you saying no GUI comes up when you browse using https to the management address? Or that you cannot login with the local username?

It's ftd 2100 managed by fdm.

Im able to do ssh but not https or http to my management ip

Hello Marvin,

No gui comes when I enter management ip in browser also unable to telnet that ip using port 443/80 in command prompt but I'm able to do ssh with same ip

There are several reasons why it might not work. But first please tell us - has it ever worked?

Have there been any changes to your environment? for example, any upgrades, new configuration deployments, etc.

Also, what version are you running?

Hello Marius,

We have just rebooted the device once and after that reboot we have check the access gui also. It working fine.

But from past 2-3 days unable to take gui access but able to take ssh.

No configuration changes, upgrade has been done.

Well, if it is working now after a reboot I am not sure what else we can help with.

As for the reason you were not able to access the GUI my best guess is that the HTTP management process on the FTD had hung and rebooting caused this process to restart.

If you need a more specific reason you will need to open a TAC case and send them the troubleshoot file from the affected system.
