Perhaps I didn't explain the issue correctly. I am using the community keyword when configuring SNMP, but I cannot configure 2 or more on the ASA:

snmp-server community Test1

snmp-server community Test2

Is there a way to create these 2 without one overwriting the other?

Hey guys, I'm trying to configure multiple SNMP community strings on a Cisco ASA5506 running v9.8.2. We're working with another company to have the ASA monitored, but I don't see a way to add another SNMP community without having the existing one overwritten. Is there a way to configure multiple communities?

Thanks!

Hi, when you configure snmp host you can assign the community keyword which
will be used for that host and overwrite the default community

**** please remember to rate useful posts
