A TAC case was opened to address this issue. Currently there is no way to NAT the source address with the ASA.

The nature of PIM and how multicast forwarding is applied seems to be the main factors.

ASA NAT Multicast source address

Is it possible to NAT the multicast source address to the public facing ASA (v 9.10) ?

Everything works to the receiver, but with the original source IP intact.

nat (inside, outside) source dynamic (original_private_network) interface destination static [group_add_224.x.x.x]

I also tried static for one inside host. Have tried several options (via ASDM) but maybe I'm missing something. The source on the inside is the private address and the destination is the multicast group it puts out on the wire. The inside address doesn't hit the NAT statement, after successfully being processed by the ACL.
