    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, I bought the used ASA5506-x from Ebays.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I took the below steps to reset the device to the factory default:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;pressed the ESC key to interrupt boot.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;rommon #0&amp;gt; confreg 0x41&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;rommon 1&amp;gt; boot&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;after that, I was able to add the new adm-user and password&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;change the host-name to ASA&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;reload&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After the ASA enters the first boot, I press the ESC key again but this time, I noticed&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the power LED is Green&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the Status LED is Blinking Amber&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the Active LED is OFF&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the MGMT Port LED is Green&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And getting an error see the screenshot attached.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The device PID VID: ASA5506-K9 V06&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Could you please help?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="ASA error boot.PNG" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.cisco.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/83765i857B37E4480D73A7/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="ASA error boot.PNG" alt="ASA error boot.PNG" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>ASA5506-X not working</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Dear Experts,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Kindly i have an ASA5506 for my client and it stop working,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;i try to enter via Console but i doesn't give me anything, only a blank page&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;the power LED is Green&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;the Status LED is Blinking Red&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;the Active LED is OFF&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;the MGMT Port LED is Green&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The Interface 1 and 2 OFF when connect the cables ( outside-inside)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;i try to reboot it many time but nothing happen&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;any Advice for it&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;if this is the case it could be brick. best do RMA if you have cisco service contract in place.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;and also its a 5506-x could be it had a clocking issue. worth to check this link&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/field-notices/642/fn64228.html" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/field-notices/642/fn64228.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Product ID&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Possibly Affected VID&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Fixed VID&lt;BR /&gt;ASA5506&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; V03 or earlier&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;V04 or later&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The security appliances no longer function and, subsequently, the system fails to boot.&lt;BR /&gt;In addition, the LED status indicators on the security appliance illuminate as follows:&lt;BR /&gt;Power LED is green&lt;BR /&gt;Status LED is amber and blinking&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;My Item is ASA5506-K8 V02 , So possibly affected by the issue&lt;BR /&gt;Best solution to do, is to open a case on the Smartnet and RMA the Item ?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Kindly, the Defected ASA5506-X has an&amp;nbsp;L-ASA5506-SEC-PL= License&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;and the token dedicated to the &lt;SPAN&gt;ASA5506-X thought the Serial number&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;when the defected ASA replaced to a new one, it will have an Different Serial Number&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;how to add the the&amp;nbsp;L-ASA5506-SEC-PL= in the Replaced one ?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;do i need to open a Case to&amp;nbsp;make the Pak dedicated to the New Replaced ASA Serial Number ???&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
