Hi,

I am unable to upgrade a 2130 running FDM via the web GUI because of a bug/error that is making the GUI fail to load.

I am experiencing the same issue as the OP trying to upgrade software from CLI (I am on 6.4.0.7, trying to upgrade to 6.6.1). I am receiving error "Unable to open downloaded image".

I have tried transferring via FTP, TFTP, SCP, and USB, all with the same error. I have used this same file to upgrade a different FTD via FDM web GUI with no issue, and the file hash is correct, so I do not believe there is an issue with the file itself.

I cannot find any documentation from Cisco regarding how to perform FDM upgrade via CLI (vs full reimage).

Hi

You want to upgrade or reimage your device?
With the upgrade file you have, go to FDM under Device, you have a software upgrade menu. You can upload this file over your browser and start the upgrade right away.
However, you first need to go to 6.4.0 and then apply the patch 6.4.0.x
