    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a ASA 5506-X that will not boot. It constantly repeats the following errors&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;File system not supported&lt;BR /&gt;Attempt autoboot: "boot disk0:"&lt;BR /&gt;File system not supported&lt;BR /&gt;boot: cannot determine first file name on device "disk0:"&lt;BR /&gt;autoboot: All boot attempts have failed.&lt;BR /&gt;autoboot: Restarting the system.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;then proceeds to reboot. I have entered rommon mode and tried to view 'disk0:' but I recieve an error that says that the 'file system is not supported'.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The status light is flashing Amber.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This all occurred while trying to upgrade the ASA&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Sorry to correct myself, it occurred after upgrading. I believe it was to 8.2 but i couldn't be sure.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am unable to run this command as I have to boot from a flash drive (disk1:), when I run the command it says "Error checking disk0: (no such file or directory)&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am unable to run th fsck disk0: command as I have booted from disk1: (a flash drive) when I use the command it tells me that there is no such directory present. I can't even save running-config to startup-config.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you tried to use an 8.2 image (or anything other than the correct file type) it would fail on an ASA 5506-X.9.3(2) was the first image available for the ASA 5506-x back in 2015 or so.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The 5506-X (and 5508/12/16) requires you use a digitally signed image (ends with ".SPA"). Valid images can be found here:&lt;/P&gt;
