&lt;P&gt;I don't think it's possible to connect to FDM using just http.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Are you sure the error you receive isn't saying the https certificate is untrusted? That would be normal, by default the certificate would be untrusted as it is self-signed and not trusted by your web browser. You can export and import this certificate into your browser or sign the certificate by another CA you do trust.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>FDM https connexion impossible</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a pair of FTD 2130 configured as HA.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I use FDM to manage these FWs.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Every time I want to run "https" on its&amp;nbsp; IP-mgmt address, it came out as http (not secured).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyway I can configure the FTD without issue. But I feel uncomfortable why https didn't work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Its strange, maybe I missed something.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you very much for your help.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;To correct the SSL certificate error you would ideally need to install a trusted certificate on the FDM either from your internal CA or a 3rd party CA.&amp;nbsp; You would also need the root certificate of that CA installed on your PC.&lt;/P&gt;
