    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am struggling with cisco packet tracer, i am a beginner in this field. I just build 3 vlans for my internal network that i want to connect to my firewall. I cant seem to connect it to the firewall. I just cant figure out how i should let the firewall know that the inside vlan 1 is for the internal network.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and on the multilayer switch the vlan 1 that i configure the firewall inside on,&amp;nbsp; wont go from down to up? please help.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;my ip address for my multilayer switch going to the firewall is 10.0.0.1/28&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and my ip from the firewall into the internal network is 10.0.0.2/28&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i just pasted a file below that shows the&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My first observation is that both the switch and ASA are configured with IP 10.0.0.2.&amp;nbsp; Change the switch IP to 10.0.0.1&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;int vlan 1&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; ip address 10.0.0.1 255.255.255.0&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
