There should be no significant change in the performance (throughput, CPU, memory usage) of your ASA 5525-X between 9.8x, 9.12x or 9.14x.

I've been going with 9.12(4) latest interim lately unless some 9.14 feature is compelling. If you go with 9.14, be sure to play close attention to the changes in default behavior for certain crypto parameters that were introduced in 9.13(1).

Hello

I have an ASA 5525 that has 9.8(4)20 and I would like to upgrade it

I see from Cisco Downloads that the recommended is 9.12 and 9.14

But as it approached its end I would like to know if it can handle it performance wise.

Any hints?

Regards,

Konstantinos
