I am trying to use a VJDBC (com.sourcefire.vjdbc.VirtualDriver) supplied by CISCO to access an equipment's database. The driver set up is explained in https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firepower/620/api/db-access/Database_Access/Setup.html.

I tried JasperSoft iReport according to the above guide, the test of connection is successful first time, but failure at secondary time.

I searched the BIRT, it seems that the BIRT is out of date , so I didn't try it.

I tried to use the the nomal DB client(DBeaver) to build the connection to the FMC DB. The connection is no problem, but the data query. I wonder if anyone has a mature experience/tool to query the FMC database?

Did you ever find an answer to this?

I have tried jasper reports with no luck importing the drivers and driver class. I'm trying Dbeaver now but still struggling with the connection.

Do you mind posting how you imported the driver class: com.sourcefire.vjdbc.VirtualDriver, the database type you selected and the URL?
