FMC Migration from cloud to on-prem

Dear ALL,

My FMC 6.4.0 are in cloud provider, the FMC and FTD management port are connecting via public address, I 'm planning to migrate the FMC into on-perm VMware platform, I had use the "backup and restore" to restore the configuration to new FMC successfully, Is it need to re-add the FTD device from FMC?

Is there any impact?

Yes get the backup config and restore the data.

if the IP changes, the you need to re-registerd the FTD back to new IP ( also Licenses, tied up with your device need to be changed)

Understand, Is it need to un-register the device from the current FMC?

that would be right approach. and re-register once new IP in and live.
